It has already been a terrific start to Crohn's and Colitis Awareness Month. We continue to hear and share stories about Canadians living and thriving with Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis across the country with the hope to bring a greater understanding of inflammatory bowel disease to the masses!
Here are some activities, news and resources you can share to help raise awareness, foster compassion, and encourage positive change.

The Faces Behind the Stories
|
For Crohn's and Colitis Awareness Month, we are bringing our IBD community to the forefront with personal stories from fellow IBD advocates.
Every week, we'll be highlighting Canadians who have been impacted by Crohn's or colitis, along with facts, research, and tips to encourage conversations on our social media channels.
We need your help, of course. Please share these posts so we can amp up awareness!
This month is also the perfect time to tell your stories about living with Crohn's or colitis on social media using the hashtag #MakeItStopForLife and tagging @getgutsycanada.

We are so excited to raise awareness for Crohn’s and colitis this month with all of you. We know we could not do this without you, so THANK YOU for being by our side, being champions for this cause, and for lifting up others in this community of ours. There’s power in numbers, and the more people we can raise awareness to this month, the sooner we’ll be able to find the next treatment, the next breakthrough, and hopefully…the first cures!
