Marching Orders
From Mary McKenzie,
KS SHRM State Conference Committee Member
The KS SHRM State Conference is a top conference that has made a difference in my career in many ways. The caliber of speakers throughout the conference is impressive. The keynote speakers consistently inspire and motivate us, and offer new ways of looking at things. The education gained in the breakout sessions has been extremely useful and a significant resource in every phase of my HR career development journey.

The opportunity to build relationships and share experiences with fellow HR professionals is another factor that makes this conference so valuable. I've also learned a great deal by talking with the exhibitors and gaining insights into their services and current trends.

Overall, the scope and depth offered at this conference makes it one of the most relevant and beneficial conferences I've attended. The knowledge and experience gained help support my goal as a Business Partner to consistently ad value and promote growth and improvement in our organization. I hope you will take full advantage of this significant resource and attend the 2018 KS SHRM State Conference.
Have you ordered more business cards yet? Be sure to stock up so you'll have plenty to hand out to your fellow recruits at the conference!

Optional Pre-Conference Workshop
Richard Rierson, Founder of Dose of Leadership
The pre-conference workshop is on Creating a Culture of Engaged Leadership. Most organizations find it difficult to do what they regard as important; they are good at planning but struggle to put these plans into action. This is not a new challenge; this is a widespread and enduring problem for most organizations.Learning how to close this gap is the purpose of the workshop. It's not about creating more detailed plan, but rather, it's about fostering engagement through "clarity and alignment." The workshop is about showing how organizations can defeat mediocrity and stagnation, create high impact cultures of initiative, and build empowered teams with high degrees of implicit trust.

To be a part of this 3-hour workshop, simply add it to your conference registration (additional $75 charge will be applied to your conference fee). Lunch is included but space is limited so don't delay.

THANK YOU TO OUR PARTNERS!
