Eric Sande joins OSCC Board of Directors

The Oregon State Chamber of Commerce (OSCC) is pleased to announce that Eric Sande with the Redmond Chamber of Commerce has been appointed to the OSCC Board of Directors.
 
Eric will with be serving a three year term with the other 8 current members of the board. The OSCC Board is delighted to have the Central Oregon area represented and welcomes the experience that Eric brings to the board.
 
OSCC's mission is to support and represent Oregon's local business community by serving as its advocate on business issues and by strengthening local chambers.
Jenny Dresler joins Public Affairs Counsel team

On April 2nd, Jenny Dresler joined the team at Public Affairs Counsel (PAC) as Director of Grassroots and lobbyist.
She previously served as Director of State Public Policy at the Oregon Farm Bureau. As director, Jenny oversaw state lobbying on key issues-tax, employment, environment, and regulatory-and was the organization's grassroots coordinator.

Prior to Farm Bureau, Jenny worked for the Oregon Senate Republican caucus office and focused on natural resources policy. She began her professional career as an aide to U.S. Senator Roger Wicker (R-MS) in Washington D.C.

She has a Bachelor's degree in biology and a Master's degree in environmental science with a focus on general business.

Jenny looks forward to supporting OSCC's grassroots and advocacy efforts.

Dave Kilby, president/CEO of the Western Association of Chamber Executives (WACE), will present a one-day intensive and interactive leadership training focused on providing strategies to building an effective and dynamic leadership team at the chamber on May 16th.
W.A.C.E. Political Action Boot Camp to be held in Portland

On May 17th, chamber CEOs, government affairs staff professionals, chamber officers & board members, and PAC chairs are invited to an intense workshop to help chambers take their political game to the next level and be real players helping elect business friendly candidates. Springfield to host OSCC Annual Conference in October


Mark your calendars for the OSCC Annual Conference, scheduled for October 24-25th in Springfield. This Conference is the largest gathering of Oregon's chamber industry during the year, giving attendees the opportunity to participate in professional development as well as sharing best practices, gleaning from others and growing your network.
