Urgent Support for An Amazing Woman of God Who Has Blessed Our Brotherhood Through Her Ministry of Music for Decades
As most of you well know, Rhynett has been a vital part of the Church of Christ Music Ministry for most of her life. She has traveled all over our Brotherhood blessing us with her God given gift of song, moving, motivating and lifting us all. Now, she is in need of our help.
In April of 2017 Rhynett fell ill and went to her primary doctor. After several blood tests, the results warranted an immediate referral to an Oncologist Hematologist. She began to fear that the cancer she had beat years ago had returned. On May 23, 2017, her worst fear became reality; she was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML.)
For the past year and a half she has been receiving chemotherapy and spending most of her time in the hospital. After several rounds of chemotherapy, with no improvement, she was referred to UF Health Shands Cancer Hospital in Gainesville, FL where she has been accepted in the "Bone Marrow Transplant Program."
I have known Rhynett since she was 12 years old, as a faithful and dedicated member of the Northside Church of Christ. I am now personally requesting that you join me and Christians across the country in an effort to help save the life of our dear sister, Rhynett Chatman.

At this difficult time, Rhynett is in need of financial assistance. She is already facing mounting costs related to the cancer treatment; loss wages, travel to and from the clinic, temporary housing, meals and other living expenses.
She will soon also have the expense of obtaining a caregiver while she is away in Gainesville, FL.

A Tribute To An Angel, Rhynett Chatman...

As I spent many hours of my day today compiling this plea to my brothers and sisters in Christ across the country, tears literally rolled down my cheeks as I combed through videos hearing the angelic voice that has blessed my soul personally throughout the years. God still has an amazing work left here on Earth for Rhynett, and He is calling on each of us to do our individual part to help. Thank you Rhynett for all you have been for me, my church home, and for the Church of Christ. We are here for you!
