       Invitation to Comment on SLA Strategic Plan 2019-23

The 2019 conference offered an opportunity to comment on work the Board has undertaken on Strategic Plan development. For members that are interested in responding and were unable to do so at the conference session, the following documents are provided. A brief overview that includes the strategic priorities identified and a list of questions to guide input are attached. Please note that you can be selective on what you choose to comment on. Your comments may be sent to Dorothea Warren at slaexdir@sasktel.net.

I am pleased to advise that the Saskatchewan Library Association's membership request to join the University of Saskatchewan Senate has been approved. Our representative's term begins immediately and will end in three years on June 30, 2022. Please note that we can change representatives within that term if a full commitment cannot be made. The Canadian Association of Professional Academic Librarians (CAPAL) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) Community of Practice's speaker series is pleased to present Lisa Liskovoi, celebrating the 2019 Global Accessibility Awareness Day!
