Last week, staff and members of the Brandon Chamber of Commerce attended Manitoba Chambers of Commerce's 87th Annual General Meeting.
There were over 90 delegates at this AGM discussed policy and best business practices while hearing from prominent members of the Manitoba business community.
Over the two days of the AGM, the 24 Chambers in attendance passed 21 resolutions, culminating in a strong platform for Chambers and businesses all across Manitoba to rally behind and enact positive change for the business community.
Manitoba Education and Training -The Manitoba Government is inviting business leaders in Brandon to attend a brainstorming session on May 16 from 9:00am to 12:00pm at Brandon University to co-design ways to better align the Manitoba Scholarship and Bursary Initiative. Mayoral Announcement -Mayor Rick Chrest announced that he will be seeking a 2nd term as Mayor for the City of Brandon. The Municipal election is slated for October 24th.
