VBS 2018 has officially launched!
Children of various ages have overfilled the church with great joy and enthusiasm thanks to FMC's annual Vacation Bible School. VBS launched this Monday and will last through Friday, June 22.
This year's theme is Rolling River Rampage. Rolling River Rampage invites the Rafters on a whitewater rafting adventure to experience the ride of a lifetime with God. Along the river, Rafters will discover that life with God is an adventure full of wonder and surprise, and that they can trust God to be with them through anything.
Rolling River Rampage is centered on our Rafting Ready Verse, Isaiah 42. It says, "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you."
Each day is celebrated by a color so be sure your little one is dressed to represent.
Don't forget! There will be a special VBS presentation on Sunday, June 24 at 9:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary.

Join our Identification Ministry
Imagine what it would be like to not have your state driver's license or photo identification.
You would not be able to get a job, cash checks, receive packages or certified mail, drive or countless other things that we tend to take for granted.
For those who face homelessness or sudden, drastic changes in their lives, this is their reality. Trying to get a new I.D. is filled with complications and challenges that folks going through a crisis simply don't have the energy or focus to work through.
Our church has two teams of wonderful individuals who help people navigate the difficult journey of getting identification. We are looking for a few more folks to join in this most important ministry. Countless people have had their lives changed through our members sharing a few hours of their week with them.

Summer Music Camp
Monday, July 9 through Saturday, July 14
from 9 a.m. to noon
Summer Music Camp is a great opportunity to sing, act, and have fun all while learning a great Bible story that we will present on the final evening of the camp to our families and congregation on Saturday, July 14 at 6 p.m. in the Sanctuary.
Our summer camp program is open to those who have completed Kindergarten through sixth grade.

Upper Room Upcoming Events
Youth VBS Volunteer Celebration
Friday, June 22 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Come celebrate all the great work that was done during VBS. We'll have lunch and then some fun water games. Bring a towel, swimsuit and change of clothes.
Big House Work Day
Saturday, June 23 from 10:00 a.m. to noon
All of the youth and adults who will be attending Big House will meet at the garage. We will get our trailer packed with tools and materials for our trip.
Big House Mission Trip Commissioning
Sunday, June 24 at 11:00 a.m.
We are asking all who will be a part of our Big House mission trip to attend our 11 a.m. worship service and receive a blessing for our upcoming trip. What a great way to prepare ourselves for this trip that will allow us help our neighbors.
