Dear Center for Irish Music supporters and students,
November is a month for giving thanks, and so we extend our heartfelt gratitude to you! YOUR support, enthusiasm, and care for traditional Irish music is incredibly meaningful, and fuels our passion for handing down the tradition to the next generation of musicians in our community.
Our annual fall drive has just begun, so keep an eye out on social media for videos, photos and testimonials from our students about how the Center for Irish Music is making a difference. If you are able, please consider supporting our work with a donation.
Also, we hope you will join us from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm on Thursday, November 19th for a virtual session to celebrate Minnesota's giving holiday, Give to the Max Day.
In these overwhelming times of uncertainty, the arts bring people together, and inspires us to be better human beings. Last Friday's Taking Flight Collective concert was a powerful example, with over five thousand views from all over the world! If you missed this uplifting concert of songs and tunes performed by young musicians from the Center for Irish Music, you can still enjoy it on Facebook or YouTube.
Musically yours,
Norah Rendell
Executive Artistic Director
