FROM THE JUNIOR WARDEN
As you may have heard, we have made some recent changes in our day to day housekeeping and cleaning operation.
We have contracted with a cleaning service for the church and its buildings. Good progress is being made! The deep cleaning of our facilities is a huge task and it will take months for this work at the rate we can afford.
Cleanup for all internal meetings and events must be performed by the hosting group.
Removal of trash/recycling and s
etup/cleanup for special events (outside groups, $100 per event) will continue to be performed by the Sexton.
So it is very important that a cleaning service not be confused with a daily housekeeping service that tends to individual or group use. Frankly, we cannot afford a daily housekeeping service. Therefore, if you or your group uses a space, please clean it up after using!

ABOUT THE INCOME SPIKES:
Income and expense numbers in the chart above do include ALL donations and pass-thru amounts, such as those designated for Capital Campaign, Music Fund, Reading Camp, Food Pantry, etc., which accounts for large spikes on the graphs.
The income spike shown in August 2018 is due to a Line of Credit Loan for $20,000 which was incurred on 8/17/18 to carry us through the coming months. This precaution is mainly due to very high maintenance costs this year. Monthly expenses are recorded only at the end of each month, calculated as a weekly average.

- CHILDREN & YOUTH: Christian Formation/Sunday School: Godly Play classes for age 2 through fourth grade will resume on September 9. Please gather in the parish hall to go upstairs together as a group. Latecomers must be escorted by a parent to the upstairs classroom.. Children of all ages are welcome and encouraged to attend all church services; a nursery is available for younger children starting at 9:15 a.m.

we are still looking for Coffee Hour hosts and helpers!
Do you have a team, group, family or partner who could bring in a few light/simple snacks, and/or help serve and clean up, for our important time of fellowship after the 10:30 service on Sunday? If you would like to help with Coffee Hour, please sign up on the printed sheet on the office window (or contact Jan Stevens - see below). The coffee itself is provided by the Men's Club, and vestry members have agreed to pitch in on Sundays when no one else is scheduled, but we encourage everyone to share in this ministry as you are able.
- Jan Stevens is our Hospitality Coordinator - contact her by email at jstevens5@aol.com to discuss Coffee Hour questions, needs and procedures. If you can bring treats but need a helper, or vice versa, Jan can help you team up!
