From the Director
Our dear Judith Soleil has taken a fall. Thank goodness no bones were broken and we expect Judith back to school soon. In the mean time we have put together a very small leaflet in her absence. Please join us in wishing Judith a speedy recovery.

Festival News
May Gladness

While the popcorn was popping and the cakes awaited new owners, faces took on colors and animal-like features, enormous bubbles filled the skies, crowns befitting princes and princesses were made, and small bodies scampered under parachute "clouds".  Ashwood's community came together joyously to celebrate the long awaited coming of spring. It was a lovely afternoon, filled with fun and good cheer.

A most special thank you goes to master teacher, Jackie Leigh Davis, who taught the students well. The human pyramid and the dances had an extra something under her fine guidance and skill. A special thank you also to Ursula Leonore, who, with her accordion, turns a fine day into an instant party. Thank you to all who came, all who baked, and all who helped to make this lovely day into the special festival that it was.
