Mother's Day and Loss
Sunday, May 13
Mother's Day is a special day for many women, but for some it can be a very painful time. For women who have lost babies, who are struggling with infertility, or who are post-abortive, this is a bittersweet day. Morning Will Come is a collection of stories of couples who have been through a loss or are infertile. If you have experienced a loss, please visit the Caleb Ministries display in the main lobby this  Sunday, May 13, to obtain a free copy of this book. For more information, please visit calebministries.org.

Set Free Ministry - Discussion Night for Wives
Tuesday, May 22 | 7-8:30 PM
The Christ Covenant Set Free Ministry invites all married women to an intimate evening of dessert and loving conversation. Nancy Megargee will lead us in a discussion revolving around how to cope with and handle conflict in our marriages, specifically around the topic of sexual sin and betrayal. We will discuss the differences between reacting and responding, and explore what the Bible has to say about our pain, heartache, and redemption in Christ. The event will be held in the home of one of our members, and is free. No registration required. Please look for the insert in the May 13 and May 20 worship folders for details.

Farewell for the Rosses
Sunday, June 3 | Morning Worship
On June 3 during our morning worship service, we will say farewell to Mike and Jane Ross as they prepare to move to Ohio to be near their grandchildren. The service will be followed by a cookie reception where you will have a chance to say goodbye to Mike and Jane personally.

Women's Summer Bible Study
Tuesdays, June 5-July 10 | 7-8:30 PM
The Women's Ministry is offering a six-week study on "God's Covenant with Noah" led by Carolyn Carpenter. This study will focus on how God's covenant with Noah fits into God's overarching plan of redemption, culminating in Jesus Christ. We will see relevance to today's time with widespread corruption. The Genesis passages show the seriousness of sin and need for a savior. Application for us is our responsibility of sharing the gospel with people drowning in their sins.  The class begins on June 5 from 7-8:30 PM and costs $5. For details and to register for this class, please go to christcovenant.org/wbs.

ProjectSHARE May Collection:
Books for Seek the City Summer Camps
This month, we are collecting new and very gently used books to use during our Matthews Elementary and Crestdale Middle School Seek the City camps. This year, it is especially important to collect many books as both camps will be held on the campus of Christ Covenant.
Books can be dropped off in the B-building or main lobby any Sunday in May, or the church office during the week. More information and the list of books will be in an insert this Sunday and is also available on our ProjectSHARE webpage.

Seek the City
Churchwide Volunteer Opportunities

Seek the City is a churchwide mission and requires volunteers from the congregation to make everything run smoothly and for our youth to be able to minister to people on their worksites. Our Seek the City initiative (June 17-22) is a week of ministry fueled by the energy and commitment of our teens and youth leaders who have planned and prayed and trained for this ministry for nearly a year. This Sunday, there will be an insert/volunteer sign up sheet as well as a highlight in the announcements with many more details. You can sign up on the insert and turn it in the offering bags or you can go to the Seek the City webpage and sign up to help today!

Please see our Get Involved webpage for more ways to get involved in our Outreach and Missions programs.
