Premium begins for remaining H-1B cap petitions

On June 10, the USCIS will begin premium processing for all remaining FY 2020 H-1B cap-subject petitions.  Previously, on May 20, 2019, the USCIS announced that it would resume premium processing for H-1B cap-subject petition requesting a "change of status."
Now premium processing will be available to all H-1B cap-subject petitions, including those requesting Consular Notification.
Please note that premium processing continues to be available for non-cap H-1B petitions filed to request a change of employer, extension of status, and amendment.
The USCIS is not accepting pre-paid mailers for H-1B cap cases being converted to premium at this time. So, any individuals for whom a cap-subject H-1B petition was filed as a "change of status" who want to convert the petition to premium processing, should provide a check as follows:
Payable to:    Law Office of Leila Freijy PLLC
Amount:      $1535 (this covers $1410 premium processing fee, $100 in legal fees and $25 for UPS)
Send to:        Law Office of Leila Freijy PLLC, 3150 Livernois Road, Suite 103, Troy, MI 48083
Please share this email with any of your employees for whom we filed an H-1B cap case that was selected in the lottery and filed requesting "Consular Notification."
