FREE BREAKFAST AND LUNCH RESUMES
The cafeteria is offering curbside pickup for a free breakfast and lunch every school day from 7:30 am to 1:00 pm. Come to the Gate 3 entrance before Basswood where the line forms outside the gym. This program is open to any student 18 and under and recipients do not need to be enrolled in PVPUSD. No pre-order required. All meals include an entrée, choice of milk and seasonal fruit and vegetables. Menus are at pvpusdschoolnutrition.net.
PLEASE NOTE: There is no food distribution Friday, Dec. 18 through Friday, Jan. 1, 2021.

UC APPLICATION DEADLINE EXTENDED
Due to technical difficulties on Nov. 29, the University of California extended the application deadline to TOMORROW, Dec. 4 at 11:59 pm PST.
CSU DEADLINE ALSO EXTENDED
To better serve high school students facing university admission challenges caused by COVID-19, California State University (CSU) will extend its fall 2021 priority application deadline to Tuesday, Dec.15, 2020 at 11:59 pm PST. The Cal State Apply Support hours have been extended as well. Students are encouraged to send in their applications ASAP.

HELP AFGHAN SCHOOLS
Members of the AFG-AID club here at Pen need your help. They have collected hundreds of school supplies to be distributed to needy school children in Kandahar, Afghanistan.
