What You Need to Know for June 17
Pardon this re-sending of today's team message. The first try went out with last week's subject line. The correct subject line is important, and so I'm trying again.

There's a new and important planning document online today -- What You Need to Know for June 17 (click here for that document). As with everything else about the mission trip, the details here are subject to change, but check out this document to see the default starting point.

Some key elements:

Valdosta passengers -- be at the Valdosta airport at 4 a.m. on June 17. We all need to check in at the same time in person. Do not check in online yourself. We are going to try to get some of our checked baggage fees waived, and the only way that will work is if all 8 of us are in line to check in at the same time.

Problem getting to the VLD or ATL airport? Text or call Julius at (229) 563-0209 anytime to let him know. Problem getting to the ATL Delta departure gate for DL 686 to SDQ? Same message -- call/text Julius.

Julia will be hand-delivering team t-shirts and crosses to everyone in the Valdosta area, and will be mailing those items to our missioners in Atlanta, Myrtle Beach, and Statesboro. We expect that those items will be ready on Friday, June 7. Julius will be carrying those items to our fellow missioners we will meet in the SDQ airport.

Not mentioned in the June 17 document, but please remember to stock up on well-packaged snacks, food bars, etc., to add to our common "snack table" in the Campamento dormitory.

And a final note for this message: Julius is adding more and more "getting ready" photographs to our trip album on his Facebook page linked here . If you would like to take some photographs of anything in your trip preparation process, please send them to him and he will add them to this team album.

Next Thursday - the final team message before we start the trip. Watch for it in an email in-box near you. 8-)
