Happy Mother's Day!

We wholeheartedly thank all the supportive moms who have given their time,
energy, concern, thoughtfulness and love to fellow moms and families
struggling with homelessness! With your compassion and selflessness, you
have impacted and inspired many of our shelter and community support moms to grab hold the path of recovery and experience the joyfulness of independent living!

After surviving a situation of homelessness, Jessalee and her family have graduated from our shelter program and have moved into their own home!

Gaining stability, personal space and security in a positive environment allows Jessalee and her family to thrive and journey together on a path of independence!
Jessalee Goes Home!

We deeply thank donors like you who, through your support, continue to offer encouragement, hope and opportunity to families in despair!

Your generosity allows children like Jessalee to enjoy warm and cozy nights in their own beds and to create joyful new memories in a special place they call home!
A special thank you to Bohler Engineering Company for donating a new bed to Jessalee's mom!
With Warm Appreciation!

A tremendous thank you to Atlantic Stewardship Bank for making a donation to Family Promise! With your support, we are able to continue offering many services to individuals and families in situations of homelessness. Your generous aid will impact many and we are truly thankful!

Meet the People of Family Promise Morris County
Name:   Iara Vellaro

Role with Family Promise: Volunteer. Also, I started, along with seven other people in my group, a Family Promise Branch of the service club in our school.

Home town: Denville, NJ

Favorite subject in school: My favorite subject in school right now is Service-Learning. Service-Learning is an approach to teaching and learning in which students use academic knowledge and skills to address genuine community needs. I was able to create the Family Promise Branch through this class.

How would your friends describe you:   Natural leader, hard-working, and passionate

What you like most about helping Family Promise: I like planning the events through my Family Promise branch. Although we had only a few events this year, including a Wall of Wishes and a Jeans Friday, we are prepared to do more next year.

College Plans: I will be attending Montclair State University in September to study psychology.
