The Oasis Water Park Grand Re-Opening
Everyone is invited to celebrate the grand re-opening of The Oasis Water Park 11 a.m. to noon, June 1. Admission is FREE for all entering the water park from 11 a.m. to noon.

The Oasis underwent significant upgrades over the past year, including the complete replacement of the children’s sprayground – now known as Adventure Island. Help celebrate this amazing achievement with refreshments, raffles, games, contests and more!

Outdoor Movie at Bloomingdale Bank
Bring your blankets, lawn chairs and snacks for a night under the stars enjoying the children’s favorite Hotel Transylvania 3 on June 7 at Bloomingdale Bank & Trust .

Enjoy the inflatable Moonwalk from 7 to 7:45 p.m. and fun movie trivia with free giveaways from 7:45 to 8 p.m. Movie starts at 8 p.m. In the event of inclement weather, the movie be moved into the Westfield Middle School gymnasium.

Summer Concert Series at Old Town Park
Experience an array of talented music artists on a pleasant summer night at the Summer Concert Series every Tuesday at Old Town Park, 111 Third Street. 

All concerts are FREE and begin at 7 pm. Participants may bring lawn chairs and refreshments.

Kite Fly & Touch-A-Truck at Springfield Park
The Statewide Kite Fly & Touch-A-Truck events are held in conjunction 10 a.m. to noon, June 15 at Springfield Park.

Contests, raffles, crafts, and a mass kite launch highlight the annual Statewide Kite Fly. Touch-A-Truck features garbage trucks, tractors, police cars, fire trucks and a variety of other vehicles on display for kids to climb, sit and play on.

Swim lessons begin June 17 at The Oasis Swim Academy

Swimming is a critical life safety skill. The Oasis Swim Academy teaches participants this vital skill in and around the water while also providing fun and fitness. There are levels for each and every age group. Additionally, The Oasis Swim Academy offers private, semi-private and group lessons.

B-Fit Center passes are now on sale!

The memberships for the Bloomingdale Park District's new fitness center, the  B-Fit Center , are now on sale! Purchase an annual membership before July 15 and receive two months FREE plus no enrollment fee! Purchase memberships in person at the Bloomingdale Park District Museum, 108 S. Bloomingdale Road.

Registration is open for Sunrise Shuffle 5K

Support local parks and recreation at the Ninth Annual Bloomingdale Parks Foundation Sunrise Shuffle 5K , presented by Sunrise Chevrolet ! The September 7 run is a kick-off event for Bloomingdale's 46th Annual Septemberfest and starts and ends at the Johnston Recreation Center.

JRC Grand Re-Opening set for July 13

Everyone is invited to witness the grand re-opening of the completely renovated Johnston Recreation Center 10 a.m. to noon, July 13. The day's festivities include a ribbon cutting, tours, program demos, free play in The Clubhouse Indoor Playground , and free opportunities to try out the B-Fit Center .
