UC San Diego: Waste not, want not 

UC San Diego is working toward fulfilling its 2020 sustainability goals by introducing innovative ways to save costs while reducing waste. Greg Macway named NAEP Communicator of the Year
 
UCSF's Greg Macway recently was named the 2017 Neil D. Markee Communicator of the Year by the National Association of Educational Procurement (NAEP). The award recognizes outstanding contributions to the profession through the written or spoken word. Read more

UC hosted a day-long meeting with Jaggaer (formerly SciQuest) to share best practices, ideas and discuss future enhancements of the software. Read more

UC Riverside in the News
UC Riverside engineers are leading a project to install a solar microgrid at the Community Center on the Chemehuevi reservation. Thanks to UC Procurement Professional Marshall Holman, whose involvement helped make the transaction happen and avoid approximately $35,000 in additional oversight spend.
