The 70+ person GymRat Evaluation Staff that is on-site throughout all GymRat events. The Evaluation Staff is comprised of expert current and former professional, college, and high school coaches, professional players, and media members. To properly evaluate during the event the GymRat Evaluation Staff is assigned in a matrix to cover all teams in all division. ALL teams at ALL Age Divisions of the GymRat CHALLENGE are viewed at least twice by at least two different GymRat evaluators. That way, no player is judged on a single performance or on the opinion of a single GymRat evaluator.
The GymRat CHALLENGE is the only event in the nation that creates RECRUITING PROFILES for ALL players competing in the event. Those profiles are contained in a system known as the GymRat RECRUITING INDEX where they can be searched by college coaches and evaluators across the country year-round. Each player also has the ability to update all of the information that we have on file in their GymRat account, as well the ability to update and add to their profile. Players with ENHANCED profiles also have the ability to see exactly what college coaches are accessing their profiles as well as the use of the powerful communication tools built into the GymRat system.
The GymRat RECRUITING INDEX is the most targeted and effective basketball recruiting profile service in the nation. Here are some reasons why:
- When a college coach accesses your profile in the GymRat RECRUITING INDEX, the system automatically sends you an ALERT. Receiving these alerts and this kind of exposure to college coaches is one of the biggest benefits of competing in the GymRat CHALLENGE. - PROFILE SEARCHES: College coaches perform a search of the GymRat Player database on any number of different criteria, Based on the search criteria, player profiles appear in those searches.
- PROFILE VIEWS: A college coach has clicked on and VIEWED a specific GymRat player profile. This is more specific than a profile search and shows a higher level of interest. Players are strongly encouraged to use the SEND MESSAGE TO COACH/EVALUATOR function to reach out to these coaches with a quick message in order to start a dialogue. There'is a SEND MESSAGE TO COACH/EVALUATOR link below each coach's' name. Simply click on that link to send the coach a message. That message will automatically appear in the coach's GymRat RECRUITING INDEX account AND the coach receives notification of the new message.
- PROFILE TRACKING: This shows a very high level of interest. In this case, college coaches have chosen to receive automated messages whenever a player posts an update to their GymRat RECRUITING INDEX profile, These are definitely coaches that players should respond to using the powerful recruiting tools built into the GymRat RECRUITING INDEX.
- MESSAGING: At the very highest level, college coaches can send you direct messages. Those messages appear in the MESSAGING section of your GymRat RECRUITING PROFILE. It's critically important that you respond to these messages with a quick message to thank them for their interest, and to respond to their request, or to let them that you are really looking elsewhere if the message is from a school that does not interest you. In addition, a Measurables section is being developed for player profiles. This section will provide college coaches, players, and parents with comparative, measurable athletic data on all players similar to the data compiled at a combine event.

A BASIC GymRat RECRUITING INDEX is free. The BASIC profile is pretty much what the name indicates....a compilation of a player's basic vital information. GymRat CHALLENGE
has signed a three year contract with BallerTV to provide exclusive live streaming of all GymRat CHALLENGE games beginning with the 2019 event. BallerTV will live stream every game at every Age Division of the GymRat CHALLENGE in order to allow fans and college coaches across the nation the opportunity to view the GymRat CHALLENGE in real-time, as well as to allow players, coaches, and parents to have access to game footage during and after the event. In addition, BallerTV's exclusive technology will integrate with the GymRat CHALLENGE's social media platforms in order to provide a video highlight package at the conclusion of each game. Game highlights will immediately appear on the GymRat CHALLENGE's twitter feed (@GymRatCHALLENGE) along with interviews to shine a spotlight on top individual and team performers.

That 60+ page report contains event highlights as well ALL-GymRat selections and player evaluations in all Age Divisions for one of the nation's biggest and most competitive basketball events. The GymRat Report is distributed to every college program in the United States (Division I, II, III). The report is also available to players and parents through each player's GymRat RECRUITING PROFILE (ENHANCED PROFILES only). To view the GymRat Report:

- After clicking on any of those icons, simply follow the prompts on the screen to upgrade, view all GymRat post event reports, and make your profile more visible to college coaches and evaluators across the nation.
