Doris Honold (2020) says the key to moving forward with a successful post-pandemic European economy is solidarity. Ms. Honold participated in a panel discussion with Northeastern University about the effects of COVID-19 on many aspects of the European economy.

Lisa Macpherson (2019) says it is possible for government to support local journalism while preserving first amendment safeguards. Ms. Macpherson supports a proposal for a local news organization to double the number of local reporters while preserving editorial independence of newsrooms.

Marietta S. Robinson (2019) published an article in the International Society of Barristers entitled Where Did "We" Go. The article focuses on the forty-year history in the U.S. that led to the failure of virtually all federal agencies in addressing the challenges of COVID-19.

Rati Thanawala (2018) is focused on changing the culture in tech and changing the mind-set about women of color through her Leadership Academy. The New York Times profiles her story as a seasoned leader who became an entrepreneur later in her career.

Thuli Madonsela (2017) says offering amnesty to officials would give South Africa an opportunity to start with a clean slate and root out corruption. Ms. Madonsela attended the Nelson Mandela Bay Leadership Summit 2020 where she spoke about issues surrounding corruption.

Brett Perlman (2016) and The Center for Houston's Future hosted a climate change conference, Houston Low Carbon Energy Innovation Summit, which highlighted how the Houston region can lead the global energy transition.

Bill Plapinger (2013) has been appointed to the Sundance Institute Board of Trustees. The diverse group of new trustees will work closely with the board chair and executive director in shaping the business, cultural, and philanthropic goals of the organization.
