JAMIE GALLAGHER

Mrs. Gallagher is teaching first grade and this is her 15^th year at Jefferson.

She was born in Torrance and attended Cal State Long Beach and Cal State Dominguez Hills.

Her first job was in an office where she worked as a clerk. The job involved a lot of filing!!! :-)

If she were to win the lottery, Mrs. Gallagher would buy a house.

One thing that people may not know about Mrs. Gallagher is that her family is from Redondo Beach and her parents are RUHS alumni.

If she could learn to do anything, Mrs. Gallagher would love to learn to play the guitar.

A chore that she absolutely hates doing is folding clothes.

One experience that made Mrs. Gallagher a stronger person was losing a loved one.

For Mrs. Gallagher's success means being happy.

Her advice for kids who are struggling in school?

"Ask for help, stay positive, keep trying and do not give up."

ON-AREE SEGAL

Mrs. Segal has been working at Jefferson for the last 3 years as an Instructional Aide.

She was born in Bangkok, Thailand and attended college at the Virginia Commonwealth University.

Mrs. Segal mentioned that if she were to win the lottery, she would love to donate a part of the money.

Her biggest pet peeve is when people don't wear their face masks correctly.

Not many people may know that Mrs. Segal used to be a flight attendant.

If she could have a super power, Mrs. Segal would love to be able to read people's mind.

Her advice for kids who are struggling in school is to stop worrying, always do their personal best, and never compare themselves to others.
