Experience TapeScape - a unique play environment and creative art installation! Custom-designed by artist Eric Lennartson, TapeScape is an interactive indoor landscape made entirely out of plastic wrap and packing tape stretched over a huge metal frame. Strong enough to handle hundreds of energetic kids every day, the smooth and springy surfaces will curve and twist with your movements. Exploring this unusual and unpredictable environment is sure to spark kids' creative learning!

TapeScape, partygoers will have a chance to spark their creative learning using three tried and true craft supplies: glue, tape, and glitter. Your party guests will have shiny, messy fun creating their individual take-home masterpieces, and you'll be happy we're doing the clean up!

The Great Canadian Giving Challenge is back! The Great Canadian Giving Challenge is an exciting month-long contest that gives charities the chance to win a $10,000 donation. DAD'S SPECIAL DAY
To celebrate fathers on their special day, the Children's Museum is offering all dads half-price admission on Father's Day. During your visit, be sure to stop by the Creation Station between 11:00AM - 3:00PM to create a custom pinch pot out of clay for your dad!

INDIGENOUS PEOPLES DAY
Join us on June 21 for our third annual Indigenous Peoples Day.
The festivities run from 11:00AM to 3:00PM.
Enjoy a spectacular hoop dance performance and drumming workshop courtesy of Summer Bear Dance Troupe at 11:00AM and 1:00PM.
Create your own take-home craft
, and help us make story time extra special as we build our teepee at 12:00PM and 2:00PM!

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
The Annual General Meeting of the Manitoba Children's Museum will be held at 5:30PM on Monday, June 24, 2019 at the Children's Museum.
The Meeting Agenda includes:
- Annual Report of the Board of Directors (Note: This document will be available for download from our website on June 25.)
- 2018 Audited Financial Statements
- Appointment of Auditors for 2019
- Elections of 2019-20 Board of Directors
Anyone wishing to nominate a director may contact the Executive Director for further information. Nominations from the floor will not be accepted.

EXTENDED SUMMER HOURS
The Children's Museum's extended summer hours begin on July 1 and run until September 2, 2019. Join us daily from 9:30AM - 6:00PM all summer long!

SUMMER DAY CAMP
Summer is fast approaching, don't miss out on your chance to spend it at the Children's Museum! With time in the galleries - including our special summer exhibition TapeScape, weekly field trips, water days, outdoor activities, games, crafts, and more, the Children's Museum is the place to be for summer fun! The Children's Museum Day Camp is now open to children entering Kindergarten through Grade 4 in the 2019-2020 school year.
