Wildlife in Folsom
As the weather warms up and residents are out walking, running and biking, it is important to be aware of the wildlife we share our trails with. Rattlesnakes, mountain lions, bobcats and coyotes are just a few animals that live among us in Folsom.

Upcoming PG&E Electric Tower Maintenance Work
PG&E is ending the use of lead-based paint on electric transmission towers and will be recoating towers with a new non-lead-based paint.

Folsom Pro Rodeo
Don’t miss the patriotic family fun at the 58th Annual Folsom Pro Rodeo Saturday, June 30; Sunday, July 1; and Tuesday, July 3. The patriotic event offers non-stop rodeo action, outstanding nightly fireworks, mutton busting, a giant American flag which arrives by skydiver and much more! The Folsom Family Roundup will kick off rodeo week on Friday, June 29. Enjoy live music and meet the stars of the rodeo at this free family fun event at Folsom City Lions Park. Summer Concert in the Park Friday
The free summer concert series at City Lions Park continues Friday, June 22 from 7 to 9 p.m. featuring the popular Dave Russell band. Dave’s repertoire includes a wide mix of today’s contemporary country favorites, plus an extensive library of songs from the legends of country music. Host a National Night Out Celebration
Communities throughout Folsom will partner with the Folsom Police Department Tuesday, August 7 for the annual National Night Out, a nationwide program that promotes involvement in crime prevention, police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. Is your neighborhood involved in the Folsom Police Neighborhood Watch program and planning a National Night Out celebration? If so, complete an application before July 20.
