And, guess what? We’ve added a new Community Event option for you! A Facebook fundraiser is now defined as a Community Event.
Click the Facebook Create Fundraiser link and follow the simple steps to get started.
Here are some ways to get your office or neighborhood involved in creating your community event; you’ll find more in your Elite Chaser Guide
Ask your favorite restaurant to donate a percentage of proceeds for a night or a week
Office Ideas
  • See if employees can make a donation in exchange for wearing jeans on a certain day.
  • Getting an extra hour off for lunch or leaving an hour early.
  • Ask if you can host a baby photo contest and charge people for their ballots to match the picture with your co-worker.
  • Hold a drawing to have your boss wash your car, shave their mustache or kiss a pig (we’ll even help you find a pig!)
Neighorhood Ideas
  • Lemonade, hot chocolate or hot dog stand. Garage sale, bake sale or progressive dinner.
  • Host a used book and DVD sale, or sell Handmade Valentine’s, Easter, or Mother’s Day cards.
