IIABA SUPPORTS THE FARM BILL TO INSURE CROP INSURANCE FOR MINNESOTA'S FARMERS AND AGENTS!
The 2018 Farm Bill (H.R. 2) is currently under consideration in the U.S. House of Representatives. H.R. 2 passed out of the House Agricultural Committee last month and currently does not make any cuts to crop insurance; however, it is expected that amendments that would harm the crop insurance program will be considered as the Farm Bill moves through the legislative process.
As such please see review letter that urges members of the House to oppose any amendments that would harm the Federal Crop Insurance Program (FCIP). The letter has already been signed by 65 national organizations including the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America (IIABA) and its affiliates!!
