On the Sunday mornings after Easter, we will be showing images of resurrection, positive change and God doing a new thing.
What is your image of resurrection?
The Ohia flower (above) is the official flower of the Big Island in Hawaii. It is one of the first plants to get a foothold and grow in the barren, hardened lava on the volcanically active island. The most recent destructive eruptions of Kilauea in 2018 have added more than 700 acres of new land where the ocean used to be. Over time, the harsh lava fields will be transformed into lush and green fields filled with vegetation such as the Ohia flower.
Please email some more images to Pastor Jeff at
revjmarkay@earthlink.net
so that we can choose a few to project during worship.
