Greetings!
A word from your PTSA presidents

Roses are Red, violets are blue, spring is ending and school is too!

It is hard to imagine that this school year is almost over as it seems like only yesterday we were all at curriculum night, getting our teacher assignments and picking up last minute school supplies. This year has been filled with so many amazing events, lots of learning and memories to last a lifetime.  One recent memory was our newly revived Lakeview auction...wow!  If you were able to attend, thank you, as we had such a fabulous night on the water filled with laughter, money raising and A LO T of dancing...if you missed it, don't dismay as a little birdie told us it might just happen again next year! (Tweet Tweet! ) We should be able to share some numbers on how much money was raised very soon, we are just awaiting some matching funds to come in,  and we look forward to hearing from you as to how we can support our Lakeview Community with said funds.

We say it every time but want to say it again, thank you for all your continued support and a special shout out to the amazing volunteers who make things like the egg drop and field day happen, and to all our amazing families and students.  We are honored to be your PTSA Presidents and cannot wait until next year!!!

Hugs!
Elizabeth & Kim

Golden Acorn Winner Announced
Congrats, Sarah Rock!

Sarah has been volunteering at Lakeview since her son Alex started first grade. She is currently the PTSA communications chair and also coordinated Staff Appreciation Week this year. Sarah has worn many volunteer hats at Lakeview including art docent, room parent, party parent, library volunteer, play chaperone and class photographer. In addition to her volunteering at Lakeview, Sarah is the Chair of Cub Scout Pack 550. One of her favorite Lakeview memories was watching her son complete his first Lakeview Marathon. Thinking about Lakeview and its future she hopes parents will continue to volunteer not just in the classroom but for the behind the scenes roles that make Lakeview so special.

Thank you to Sarah and all the volunteers who help make Lakeview such an amazing, welcoming place to be.
