An Evening with  Rabbi Everett Gendler

On Wednesday May 22, in the hour before our Annual Meeting, come meet  Rabbi Everett Gendler, a student of Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel and one of the first rabbis to become involved in the Civil Rights Movement.

Capital Campaign Co-Chair Naomi Gendler Camper will interview her father, Rabbi Gendler, in a conversation about the important role that communities like Temple Sinai play in advancing Judaism's social justice mission. Come celebrate our Jewish tradition and learn more about our plans to strengthen our community for the future.

All ages welcome; light dinner will be served. Please RSVP so we can order appropriately! Plan to stay for the Annual Meeting immediately after, too. 
Temple Sinai Annual Meeting

Your participation counts! We encourage you to attend the annual meeting of the congregation, where we will vote for the slate of temple leadership and learn about highlights of this year's accomplishments and plans for Temple Sinai. The meeting will be preceded by refreshments at 7 PM. Learn more.
Social Action Recognition Shabbat Service & Dinner
Friday, May 31 at 6:30 PM
Please join us as we honor the many social justice leaders in our congregation and celebrate their work at a joyful Shabbat service. We are excited that the Rev. Frankey Grayton, pastor at Edgewood Baptist Church will be joining us and addressing the congregation.

After the service, savor a delicious catered dinner from Shemali's and enjoy relaxed conversation with leaders of projects you're interested in. This an opportunity to find out more and reflect (with a glass of wine) on Temple Sinai's legacy of tikkun olam. RSVP for dinner.
