Over the past couple of years CalDesal has increased it's presence in DC while attending ACWA DC conferences. We have distributed desalination materials while doing our advocacy and this is an example of that work.

Reminder: The DWR WATER DESALINATION GRANT PROGRAM Round 4 has been allocated and there are still monies available under a new DWR continuous funding application cycle.

CalDesal has been working to get the state to release the $100 Million set aside for Desalination in the Proposition 1 Water Bond measure passed in 2014. DWR completed the first round of grant awards earlier in 2018. They did not allocate all available funds in that allocation, and have opened a grant round for continuous application.
