Fran DeWine preparing for the Ice Cream Social

The reorganization meeting of the Seneca County Republican Central Committee will be Thursday, June 7 at 7:00 pm at the Board of Elections office, 71 S. Washington St., Tiffin. The meeting is open to the public and press. Free parking is available in the city lot across the street, or the adjacent county lot.

The committee may also discuss plans for the fall election, county fair tent, hog roast, candidates night, voter registration, fundraising, filling vacancies on the committee, and any other business.
Welcome to all new and returning committee members! Our next governor, Mike DeWine, hosts an Old Fashioned Ice Cream Social at his home in Cedarville, near Dayton. If you would like to attend, we may be able to arrange a car pool. Tickets are only $5, and free for children. A limited number will be available at the committee meeting. This is from the Xenia Gazette:

Fran DeWine, wife of Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine spent time with friends and family making pies for their annual Old Fashioned Ice Cream Social, Sunday, June 25.
When they finished, the group made 150 pies including 35 strawberry-rhubarb, 30 apple and several blueberry, cherry, black raspberry, peach and mixed berry pies.
The ice cream social runs 1-5 p.m. at the DeWine’s home on Conley Road, Cedarville. In addition to ice cream and pie, there will be live entertainment, and games for kids. The event has been held since 1976.
