Articles/posts of the week: If we were playing Jeopardy, the category would be "Potpourri." This week here are a few highlights that run the gamut:

For the love of volunteering
I will be out of town from Thursday, April 11 through Wednesday, April 17, because I again will be volunteering at the Boston Marathon. Every year I serve as the Team Captain for Food Distribution at the Finish Line of the race, managing 90+ volunteers as we create over 25,000 bags of food for runners in a matter of hours. This year is my twelfth year of service. But don't worry - with the exception of Marathon Monday/Patriots Day - I will still be working remotely to keep our projects moving forward.

Not ready for ski season to be almost over, but also ready to trail run,
-Kris
Question of the week:
How do you define "economic development"?

RECAP - Big Ski Pass News
This week Aspen Skiing Company (ASC) made two big announcements with regards to next winter's (2019-20) passes.

Here's what you need to know:
  • The 2019-20 Premier Chamber season passes will now include the IKON Base pass.
  • Everything else remains the same - Chamber Passes go on sale starting on August 12, 2019.

In short - if you remain a Chamber member, it makes the most sense to  wait until the Chamber discounted pass season begins   in mid-August  in order to purchase your season passes.

The ASC  Spring Pass Sale  is intended for people who buy a traditional, regular season pass (i.e. full-price), not through a discounted pass program, such as the Chamber's.
