· Beautifies our landscape

Reclaimed Water produced by Largo meets all state requirements for use as irrigation for public access areas such as parks, playgrounds and golf courses and as irrigation for residential lawns and landscapes. 15th Annual Fair Housing Symposium a Success!
The Tampa Bay Fair Housing Consortium, which includes the City of Largo as a member, held its 15th Annual Fair Housing Symposium on April 20th. Approximately 150 people attended the annual event at Pinellas Realtor ® Organization facility. The Symposium provided training for landlords, property managers, lenders and others in the housing field. To mark the 50th Anniversary of the Fair Housing Act, this year's theme was "50 Years of the Fair Housing Act: Past, Present and Future." In addition to the training workshops, the event also hosted a panel of speakers that spoke about the successes that have been achieved since the Fair Housing Act was enacted and the work that still needs to be done to provide equal access to housing in America and within our communities. The Symposium also gave awards to three high school students whose poems were selected in the Symposium's Fair Housing Poetry contest. The poems provide insight into the perspectives of the next generation regarding fair housing and inclusive communities. All of the poems submitted are available for reading at:
