On Saturday, Oct. 21, Kyle Pimental, principal planner, helped facilitate the "Dover Takes on Climate Change" workshop, which collected the public's input on the climate adaption chapter of the city's master plan. The workshop was held at the Dover Middle School and was well attended. Attendees were asked to share their thoughts on actions to address the impacts of climate change on the city of Dover through group discussion and activities.

In a follow up to the workshop, an online survey has been released. Interested parties can provide additional feedback via the survey . The survey must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Nov. 11. Respondents may complete part of the survey, close out, and return later to complete it, although they will need to use the same computer and browser. The survey will be available until 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 10.

Projects submitted from the Strafford region are diverse and offer strong local and regional benefits in air quality improvement, congestion relief, and beyond.

Strafford MPO's role in the process included reviewing applications prior to their submission. Moving forward, Strafford MPO will conduct air quality analyses related to each project in the region for which an application was submitted.
