Dear , I love Spring golf and now It's time for the BMW Charity Pro-Am. The Amateurs, Celebrities and Pros rotate between the three courses, Thornblade Club, Furman University and Cliffs Valley on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, with the 10 lowest scoring pro-amateur teams, six lowest scoring pro-celebrity teams and the lowest 65 pros (and ties) advancing to play Sunday's final round at Thornblade Club. The Professional winner in 2017 of took home $126,000 from the total purse of $700,000 and $630,000 went to local charities!

I hope you enjoy this month's newsletter and I hope you will forward it to your friends, family, and colleagues who may be thinking about buying or selling a home. All my best, Keith (864-420-0262)
The number of transactions was up 3.2% year over year for the month of March and 8.5% year to date. Inventory shortages and rising prices along with rising interest rates is making the Spring market very challenging. If you're in the market, my advice is too pull the trigger as soon as possible because I don't think it's going to get any better during the summer.

We at The Buyer's Broker believe the more you know, the more you will want The Buyer's Broker of Greenville to represent you in your next real estate transaction.
Treasury yields rose ahead of the release of the Fed's Beige Book and speeches from New York Fed President William Dudley and Fed Governor Randal Quarles. According to the Beige Book, economic activity in March and early April continued to expand at a moderate pace, however there is concern from various industries surrounding tariffs. Following Treasury's, mortgage rates soared. The U.S. weekly average 30-year fixed mortgage rate rose 5 basis points to 4.47 percent in this week's survey, its highest level since January of 2014 and the largest weekly increase since February of this year.

According to a survey done by the Greenville Journal 30% of respondents believe the current growth rate in downtown Greenville is Just Right, while 63% believe the growth rate is moving too quickly and would like it to slow down or stop. Only 7% would like to see the growth rate increase. What do you think? I believe we need to slow the growth by involving the citizens more.
