We Want Your Comments on the Recommended Design
THERE ARE 2 WEEKS LEFT, SO PLEASE MAKE YOUR OPINIONS HEARD
Here's how to find out more about the plan and let us know what you think.

Please take time to let us know what you think of the new design for Corrine Drive.

There are about two weeks left to give public comment on the recommended design via our online survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/CorrineDrivePlan

The Corrine Drive Complete Streets plan for the corridor is posted on CorrineDriveStudy.org. There, you will find:
The survey, which can be completed in less than 5 minutes, asks questions about the plan and process and also provides space for your comments. We want your feedback, so please take a few minutes to fill out the survey. Public comment on the plan will be open through Friday, May 31.

CHECK OUT THE FAQs
We'll be answering all the questions submitted at the Community Meeting, so the list will continue to grow.

After the May 1 meeting, we collected all participants' questions (about 200) and categorized them to eliminate duplication. Then we began working on the answers. We have now posted about half the questions and answers on the study page, CorrineDriveStudy.org. Y ou can read them here. Please keep checking back, because the list will grow, and we will get all the answers posted
before the May 31 end to the public comment period.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT
We'll put out a report on public responses. Then, the action shifts to local governments for funding, design, and construction.

After the public comment period closes, we'll summarize responses and write a short public feedback report to wrap up the Corrine Drive Complete Streets Study. We'll let you know when that is done. Then we'll hand the project over to a local government to secure funding and oversee the remainder of the design and construction. We will work with our local partners on funding solutions, but the project responsibilities will belong to them. Because we know you're invested in the future of Corrine Drive, we will be back in touch to let you know when and how the plan gets funding. Thanks for your participation.

BACKGROUND ON THE STUDY

This study uses MetroPlan Orlando's draft Complete Streets policy to showcase how such approaches can shape a corridor. Using technical work, data analysis, and public involvement, it suggests improvements to make the road accessible for all users.

The study had three phases, during which the project team collected transportation and environmental data along Corrine Drive, surveyed people about their hopes and concerns for the corridor, gathered comments on possible concepts for the street, and collaborated with local government partners on a final design.
