ROSEVILLE - A total of 463 new homes were sold during the month of April in the greater Sacramento region, the North State Building Industry Association reported today. The sales were reported in 144 subdivisions in the six-county Greater Sacramento region from Marysville and Yuba City in the north to Galt in the south. In addition, 10,793 people visited active new-home communities last month.
BIA President and CEO Michael Strech has confidence in the continued strength in new home sales around the region.
"In 2019, new home sales are slightly ahead of the first four months of last year." Strech continued, "There is a lot of variety available in the market currently, low interest rates should continue and Sacramento is seeing a lot of growth from other areas, especially the Bay Area. With these favorable conditions, we are confident that our industry will be strong looking forward into Summer."
