Is Now a Good Time? Talking about Healthy Sexuality with your Children

When parents talk to their children in a supportive and respectful manner, young people are more likely to develop positive, healthy attitudes about themselves. This is also true about sex. Some parents worry it may be too late to talk about healthy sexuality with their children; others worry it may be too early. The truth is that this conversation is an opportunity at any age.

If you haven't had conversations with your children, it's OK! They still need accurate information, guidance, and support, so there are always opportunities to open a conversation with your children at any age about healthy sexuality.
