|
If you have endured
the loss of a family member and wish to
be notified of the Yahrzeit please
log into ShulCloud
with your username
and password. Once
you
are in your account
click on the Yahrzeit

Security continues to be critical for the safety of our shul. CSS is a strong team, but our Young Israel security team needs to grow to sustain our team strength. With each new team member, we reduce the number of shifts each volunteer must do during the year. We are talking about giving your community about 2 ½ hours of your time every 6- 8 weeks to help keep us all safe.
CSS will be conducting a training course for new team members in the coming weeks. You are required to attend both Part A and Part B of the training. We are offering two class options for each level (you don't need to attend the classes at the same location). Please see details below on locations, days & times.
Level I - Part B:
Sunday morning, May 19th 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM - Temple Shaaray Tefila, 89 Baldwin Road, Bedford Corners, Mt Kisco, 10549
or
Tuesday night, May 21st 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM - The Riverdale Minyan, 4545 Independence Ave, Bronx NY 10463.
To begin the CSS application process, please visit
http://css.memberlodge.org/ and click on "cadet application" - we are the Westchester Region.

Dear
Congregants.
I would like to highlight the following people for their unwavering support throughout
The preparation and execution of the Yom Haa'atzmaut program.
My special thanks to Rabbi Morgenstern and Rabbi Klinger for their support and leadership
throughout the entire event..
Thanks to our presidents, Elisha Blechner and Ari Raskas and our dedicated committee
Judy Berman, Irene Cogan, Hersh Cogan, David Levine, Robin Fried, Edna Krausz,
Bonnie Mannis, Marie Miller and Rivka Zorbaran. Thank you Marsha and Sharon for just making our task so much easier. A very special thank you to Andrei for never missing a beat with our celebration and making sure that everything is done properly. Thank you...
Many thanks to our Shlichot this year, Inbar and Slenate for putting together a very meaningful
Tekkes to connect Yom Hazikaron to the Yom Ha'azmaut. They worked very hard on planning on this special program.
I would be remiss if I didn't mention our own young men and women who are presently serving in the Israeli Army as Lone Soldiers and also those that are living in Israel

In closing, I echo those special words that bubby Mila Bachner, Marla's mom has etched into my mind
Forever...
"We now have a home to call our own, let's keep it, take care of it, take care of ourselves and each other!!!
So open up your hearts and let love in!!!
