2018 Morris Regional 4-H Camp registration deadline is May 10th

All youth in grades 3-6 are invited to the 2018 Regional 4-H Camp scheduled for June 19th-21st at the University of Minnesota, Morris.


Interested in showing livestock? ID Deadline is May 15th!

Interested in showing livestock at the 2018 County Fair? It's time to identify your Animal Science Projects! All animals must be identified by May 15.


Summer Shooting Sports schedule is announced

This year we will be offering Trap Shooting, Air Rifle and Archery for 4-Hers! We will learn about safety, the sport, scoring and more! Try 1, 2 or all 3 disciplines.

Looking for some summer fun? Join us for a 4-H Adventure!

4-H Adventures are open to all youth. Grab a friend and join in the fun!

Leaders Council meeting scheduled for May

All youth and adult leaders are welcome to join us for our May Leaders Council Meeting.

Did you know the building of the new 4-H Barn is set to begin soon?

Did you know 4-H is building a new barn for the 2018 County Fair? While the barn will house our dairy projects during the fair, the barn will be used throughout the year for various 4-H events and opportunities! We hope that you will join us in promoting our upcoming events.

Plan to attend the summer 4-H Horse practice sessions

Planning to show a horse this summer? All 4-H Members are welcome to join us for our 4-H Summer Horse Practices!

Make plans to attend one or both of the upcoming 4-H Agronomy Tours scheduled for July 11th and July 18th.

Are you dreaming of summer and the County Fair? Check out our tentative judging schedule!

Associate dean and state 4-H director Dorothy Freeman invites young people to join her in pursuing bold and courageous dreams. Start with "yes, we can!"
 
All youth currently in grade nine - one year post high school are invited to participate in a 22 day theater arts/leadership/team building experience at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds. The 2018 Arts-In experience begins Aug. 9. Register by June 25.
 
Sign up for the new 2018 Engineering Design Challenge (formerly Rube Goldberg) state event
Sign up for the 2018 Engineering Design Challenge! Youth across the state in grades three and up can participate in this fun, team focused STEM based challenge. The event will take place on Monday, Aug. 6 at St. Cloud State University. Sign your team up by June 8 to guarantee a spot at the event. All Level 1 and Level 2 teams are invited to attend!
 
Registration for YELLO 2018 is open! Register by May 7 to attend Youth Exploring Leadership and Learning Outloud (YELLO). The event will take place June 12-15 in the 4-H Building on the Minnesota State Fairgrounds. The event is open to students who have completed grade 6 - one year past high school and is an opportunity to learn more about 4-H while gaining leadership and civic engagement skills and exploring the Twin Cities community!
 
Make sure your club explores these new zoonotic disease and agritourism resources being sent to every county across the state. Then enter your team into a video contest for a chance at winning a Glo-Germ lesson kit for your group - The winning team will have the chance to work with a professional videographer to re-produce their video as a commercial for national distribution!
 
The First Generation Initiative team is excited to announce a video contest to highlight the great work being done by 4-H'ers to recruit and orient folks new to 4-H! Submit your video by July 1 for a chance to win a $50 Visa gift card and have your video showcased at the state fair!
 
Livestock Day Camp registration is now open for youth and adults - attend one of the camps being offered in six different Minnesota locations. All camps will take place in June. Register by June 8 to learn more about your beef, meat goat, swine or rabbit projects!
 
Livestock judging enthusiasts in grades 6-12 are invited to attend livestock judging camp June 18-20 at the University of Minnesota St. Paul campus. Register by June 8.
 
Volunteers and PDC's - it's time to get together to apply to receive bonus trips for the state fair and state horse show! The deadline for submission is June 1.
 
This is an early reminder that state fair Share the Fun nominations and application forms will be available online June 1. Interested 4-H youth should start preparing to perform their acts! If your county has a Share the Fun competition at county fair, reserve a place on the rehearsal time schedule any time after June 1.
