The LGBTQ Center Long Beach would like to sincerely thank our community for celebrating with us in the 2018 Long Beach Pride Parade. We loved dancing, celebrating, and laughing the day away with all of you.
Congratulations to Porter Gilberg for being crowned Community Grand Marshal and to our Director of Health Services Ismael Salamanca for making this year's entry one of our most stunning yet.
We are extremely fortunate to call Long Beach our home, and to be able to serve such an incredible, diverse community.

Sunday, June 24 at 3 - 6PM
Shir Chadash, in partnership with the LGBTQ Center Long Beach presents a free movie screening open to the entire community. One of the first feature documentaries to address gay life in America, it's a work of advocacy itself, bringing Milk's message of hope and equality to a wider audience.
A discussion by the LGBTQ Center Long Beach's Executive Director, Porter Gilberg will follow the film. Refreshments will be provided.

Nonprofit of the Year Award

The LGBTQ Center of Long Beach has been selected as Nonprofit of the Year by Assemblymember Patrick O'Donnell! We are honored and privileged to receive this recognition.
Executive Director, Porter Gilberg, traveled to Sacramento to attend the California Association of Nonprofits Day and to receive the official award. We are especially grateful to our staff, volunteers, and community for the opportunity to serve LGBTQ people in Greater Long Beach and surrounding cities. MYTE Extended Summer Hours
|
Our
Mentoring Youth Through Empowerment (MYTE) Program will be offering extended hours over the Summer. From June 15th- September 3rd, MYTE will be open from 1-7PM. After September 3rd, the program will resume its regular operating hours of 3-7PM. For questions regarding programming, contact Joel Gemino at 562-434-4455 ext. 227.
