Bear Creek Friends held its annual "Quaker Haven Sunday" on September 13 with Brock Sizelove and Brandon Dennis in attendance. This year, Bear Creek paid for 22 campers to attend Quaker Haven, and 17 of them attended on Sunday. Some of these campers regularly attend Bear Creek, some are relatives of those who attend, and others are from the community. Bear Creek has a long tradition of providing assistance to those who want to attend Quaker Haven. In addition, Bear Creek dedicated three babies on August 30. The meeting is blessed with many young people and a wide range of ages (16 kids in worship on September 20, and around 20 under the age of 18 who regularly attend).
Farmland Friends Futbol Club is a youth soccer ministry with the goal of teaching skills for sport, life, and faith. Reaching 70+ area children, coaches lead in devotions and prayer at each game. Children will receive the gospel message, utilizing a color-coded bracelet, and New Testament from Revive Indiana, near the end of the season. Pray for a great harvest!
Knightstown Friends is sponsoring "Prayer on the Square" in support of Graham's National Prayer Walk in D.C. This will be held on Saturday, September 26, at noon on the Knightstown square. All are welcome to come and pray for healing and hope!

The 2020 EFM Fall Offering, “Pressing Towards the Goal,” is now available at https://catalog.friendsmission.com/fall. This year’s offering features seven missionaries, fields, and ministries that are currently underfunded. The goal is to increase monthly or regular ongoing commitments of giving for these ministries by $141,700 a year. You can be part of this effort by making a commitment to support as many of these ministries as the Lord leads you to support through your prayers, financial gifts, and encouraging words.
Marion First Friends celebrated their 150th Anniversary on September 13th, with speakers Greg Hinshaw and Doug Shoemaker, with special music by Joy Ritenour. It was a rich time with words from previous ministers that had served there, including George Taylor, John Myers, and a special letter from Bill Wagoner. It was a blessing to celebrate together and if you would like to watch the ceremony in replay, you can view it on their website at https://marionfirstfriends.org/connect/past-services.
South Marion Friends joined Marion First Friends September 13 for their worship service celebrating their sesquicentennial.

Good Morning!
I regularly correspond with a man who has been in prison since 1998. I can’t imagine what his daily life is like, even though he tries to describe it to me. Last weekend he sent an email full of joy. It gets chilly in his cell during the winter and he didn’t have warm clothes! He ordered some thermal clothing costing $22 not knowing how to pay for it – maybe he was going to ask me to do that. When he checked his account, he couldn’t believe that a church had put $22 in his account – exactly what he needed. His prayers had been answered and his faith boosted.
My prayers have been answered and my faith boosted time and time again over the years. For the last several years we have been depending upon voluntary giving from individuals and churches enabling IYM to continue to help breathe life into churches. Not a lot of people are excited about helping meet a budget, but I’ve been overwhelmed by the generosity of scores of people wanting to invest in what God is doing in our yearly meeting. Raising money to stay where you are is difficult, but many people are eager to give generously to something that is making a difference.
What difference has your giving made? It’s made a difference to Quaker Haven campers, White’s students, discouraged pastors, struggling churches, and African believers. Matthew 11:12 says the Kingdom of God is forcefully advancing (NIV), and I like being part of something that’s moving forward for the glory of God. Even $22 can make a huge difference.
