There will be lots of opportunities for Q&A and interactive dialogues to discuss your ideas/ challenges etc ** This workshop is kept small to ensure everyone gets a chance to learn as much as possible

ABOUT THE FACILITATORS:   

SHER-LI TORREY  is the founder of Mums@Work since 2010. She also started a small business in 2006, which was a business school, providing language training to relocated assignees of corporations. The company was profitable in the 3 years of running. Besides Mums@Work, Sher-li is currently also running a product-based business online, Asia's Beauty Secrets - selling facial wash, toner & moisturisers from Kyoto, Japan. In addition, she also headed the career services team for postgraduate students in 2 local universities in Singapore. A mother herself, she has been training Mumpreneurs since 2010 - with more than 700 Mumpreneurs having gone through her workshops.  Sher-li is a trained career coach with certified training in MBTI and CareerLeader.  She is an alumni of the Business School at the National University of Singapore, where she obtained her Bachelor of Business (Marketing) degree. She also holds a postgraduate qualification in Adult training.

YASMIN BEGUM is the mumpreneur who will be sharing her experience running a (1)Products-based business and (2) a services-based business. Currently, she runs her own Events and Marketing Consultancy. Yasmin was the Founder and Owner of the Modest Online maternity wear store, Nursing Muslimah, which ended its retail operations in 2017. She is the current community manager of the Nursing Muslimah page where she continues her efforts to promote and naturalise nursing in public. with more than 10 years of experience in the public and private sector. Branding and positioning are her key focus and she has worked with several SMEs and freelancers on their marketing efforts. The fast-paced digital marketing scene has been overwhelming for many and she steps in to provide clarity and direction on their Marketing and Branding strategies; Content and Community management; and Events Planning and Management. When Yasmin is not at her laptop, she is usually seen trying to bring up 3 responsible adults, reading good fiction or dancing to fast-paced music.
