In our tradition we believe each life is sacred and as such is called an "olam" a world. Last week, just before Shabbat last week I received word that one of our beloved TRIBE family, Sarah Demeter, was tragically killed in a car accident. Sarah was a bright light, smart and kind, a generous soul. She attended many TRIBE experiences - bowling, Shabbat and always came with a smile and sweet warmth. Sarah's passing is tragic and horrible. Such a young, talented woman, an olam, a whole world lost. I spoke with Sarah's parents and expressed our TRIBE love for Sarah.
