May is National Bike Month, and
May 15 is
National Employee Health & Fitness Day!
Goodwill Columbus is going to do a Bike at Work event that will include giving Surrey Rides (a two-person, side-by-side bike), doing a virtual bike ride, walking activities and playing a little bit of indoor (low hoop) basketball. As part of the Chamber's Service Connections, Chamber members are invited to gather at Goodwill Columbus to join in these
activities with adults in Goodwill's Day Program in Grandview.

The Columbus Ale Trail is back for a fifth year of beer
drinking, stamp collecting and prize unlocking!
Volume 5 of the Columbus Ale Trail, featuring 46 stops, will launch on May 17 coinciding with the kickoff of
Columbus Craft Beer Week which runs May 17-25. You will be able to pick up a free copy of the Volume 5 Columbus Ale Trail Book at any participating brewery beginning May 17, 2019 - the fifth volume will run through May 1, 2020.
If you want to get an early start on collecting stamps you can attend the exclusive pre-launch party taking place at Combustion Brewing this
Saturday, May 11 from 10am to 10pm. This will be the only opportunity to pick up a book before the May 17 official kickoff.
Prizes for Volume 5 include a beer can-style glass that can be picked up after getting 4 stamps, a bottle opener which can be collected halfway through the trail after collecting 23 stamps, and a locally designed and screened art print (pictured above) will be yours after earning all 46 stamps.

Bites & Brews Hosted by The Grand Event Center featuring Combustion Brewery
Join us at The Grand Event Center during Columbus Craft Beer Week on Thursday, May 23 as we collaborate with Combustion Brewery in Pickerington, Ohio for our first Bites & Brews event. Throughout the unique five-course dinner you will pair each chef inspired dish with beers ranging from ales to IPAs.
We look forward to raising a glass to celebrate Local Craft Beer together in May!
Location: The Grand Event Center, 820 Goodale Blvd., Columbus OH 43212
Time/Date: Thursday, May 23 | 6:00 p.m.
Cost: $65 per person. Purchase tickets in advance at Eventbrite by May 10th.
Complimentary parking is available in the adjacent parking garage.
