Bishop Chatard Welcomes International Students
Did you know that Bishop Chatard enrolls international students? Many of these students stay with us year after year and graduate from Bishop Chatard. During the school year, these students live with local families who provide meals, transportation and loving support, for which they receive monthly compensation.

This culturally enriching opportunity yields life-long friendships and countless other benefits. Would you be interested in learning more about becoming a host family for the 2019-2020 school year? Please contact Catherine Welch at  cwelch@bishopchatard.org  for more information.

Used uniforms in good condition will be sold for $5 per item. Used spirit wear will be available for $1 to $5 per item. All proceeds benefit the Trinity Parent Club.

Parents who would like to donate gently used uniforms are asked to drop them by the Athletic Office or Main Office during school hours.  All donations are greatly appreciated.

Help BCHS earn 'Champions Together Banner'
Bishop Chatard Junior Edreece Redmond II is one of 18 students in Indiana selected to serve on the IHSAA Student Advisory Committee. One of his goals is to raise awareness of special needs athletes and bring the “Champions Together” Banner to Bishop Chatard.
This year is the 50-year anniversary of Champions Together, so there is a special Gold Banner that requires $3,000 raised for Special Olympics Indiana. This is what BCHS is aiming for because, as Edreece says, “naturally, as Trojans, we strive for the best!"

A Reminder from the BCHS Technology Director
Student iPads should be turned on, plugged into a charger, and connected to Wifi every night and weekend.  This accomplishes two important goals:  your student has a charged iPad every morning for school, and we can update the iPad outside of school hours.  This is especially important this month, since we have an iOS update and many application updates to process.  Thank you for your help in reminding your student!
Lunch Accounts
The end of the school year is quickly approaching. A student must have money in his or her lunch account in order to purchase breakfast or lunch. Through the end of the school year, any student owing more than $10 may be offered an alternative meal of a cheese sandwich, a vegetable, a fruit and a milk. If you have any concerns or questions, please contact Brenda Henry, Cafeteria Manager, at bhenry@bishopchatard.org .
