In 1964, Lloyd Chittock purchased Ridge Feed & Supply on Ridge Road in Grass Valley. Since then, it is all in the family, as son Curt bought Ridge Feed from his father in 1987 and then further expanded the family business in 1994 with a second location, The Farm Store, in Penn Valley.
