Santa Clara County Supervisor Joe Simitian and Palo Alto Weekly invite you to a Town Hall Meeting on the Stanford General Use Permit Application.

2019 PCE Reach Code Charrette
Peninsula Clean Energy  (PCE),  Silicon Valley Clean Energy  (SVCE) and the  San Mateo County Office of Sustainability  (OOS) are joining together to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, by developing “reach codes” that exceed state energy efficiency standards for buildings. This Charrette aims to involve community members who are interested in learning about reach codes and get feedback on what you would like to see in your community. Register online here!

In support of the reach code effort to minimize fossil fuel use in new construction, Menlo Spark has produced a Zero Carbon Commercial Construction Guide ( linked here ) that shows examples of developments that have avoided fossil fuels with all electric designs that save money and improve the comfort for occupants.

Menlo Gates Dedication
Please join the Menlo Park Historical Association for the dedication of the newly constructed Menlo Gates. Originally built in 1954 by two Irish immigrants, this is a full scale replica. The gates symbolize the long standing Sister City relationship with Galway, Ireland. Menlo Park Mayor, Ray Mueller will provide the keynote address.
