Here at the farm, we are harvesting our early spring high tunnel greens and are now planting our summer crops out in our gardens. As we plant, we look forward to the harvests of tomatoes, zucchini, eggplant and more that are to come. We will continue to have our organically grown starts for sale here at the Nursery, at the Chestertown Farmers' Market, and Chestertown Natural Foods. The landscape team has been out in full force as we finish with our Spring maintenance and garden cleanups along with the many new gardens installed over the last few months. The "Parking Lot Alive" project at Adkins Arboretum is coming to a close as we finish installing plant material and add a few final touches this week. This has been an amazing collaborative project and has transformed the entrance to the Arboretum.
Lucas Lees and Kevin Kelmartin continue to work vigorously to keep up with the heavy demand for our environmental design and construction services while also spending time out on job sites overseeing active projects to ensure they complete on time and on budget. This is the Unity way.
