Business Consultant Visits Downtown
The Iowa Downtown Resource Center has arranged for well-known business consultant Margie Johnson to visit downtown Burlington. Johnson, whose agency ShopTalk has assisted retailers and restaurants for over 30 years, will be conducting one-on-one business visits at no cost. She will also be giving a presentation, "Let's Talk Business," in the Winegard Room of the Partnership offices on Tuesday, June 12 at 8 AM. Free Lions Eye Screening

Motorcycle Safety - Basic Rider Course

Successful completion of this 15-hour course by motorcycle riders over 18 years of age can result in a waiver for the driving portion of the Iowa DOT motorcycle license endorsement. The course also fulfills the Iowa DOT mandatory motorcycle driving requirements for legal riders up to 18 years of age.
