Worship for all ages will be followed by a picnic lunch, swimming, and games.
Please bring a chair or picnic blanket, as no seating is provided. You are also encouraged to bring items such as frisbees, cornhole, and other fun outdoor games.
To supplement the main course of shredded bbq chicken and pork, everyone is asked to bring the following items to share:
Last names beginning with A-F: Fruit
Last names beginning with G-P: Side dish such as baked beans, potato salad, mac n cheese, or pasta salad.
The gate opens at 9 a.m. and swimming is available until 3 p.m.
Restrooms and changing facilities are provided.
To reach the Lake Campus from Davidson, take Main Street in Davidson (Hwy 115) north approximately 2 1/2 miles to Langtree Road. Take a left on Langtree, over the railroad tracks. Follow Langtree for 2 miles to Lake Campus Drive. Take a right on Lake Campus Drive and follow to the gatehouse entrance.
Important Information
The Ministry of Fun will provide shredded barbecue chicken, pulled pork, and sandwich buns. The suggested donation for food is $5 per person for ages 5 and up.
Please also bring your own beverage. Alcohol is not permitted at the Lake Campus.
Inclement Weather Policy
In the event of inclement weather, the service will be held at St. Alban's, and the location change will be publicized by email and on the church's Facebook page.
