USCIS has raised the Premium Processing filing fee from $1,440 to $2,500, effective October 19, 2020
In our
October 6 update,
we mentioned that Congress had authorized an increase in premium processing fees, as well as an expansion of the premium processing program, but did not have an implementation schedule.
At this time, USCIS has raised the premium processing fees but has not yet expanded the program to cover other application/petition types. We will continue monitoring the premium processing program expansion and will provide updates when USCIS makes program announcements.
